New Riparian Handbook Process – Target Date of Spring 2023:

Resource guide containing the following:

•           topics relevant to waterfront property owners

•           explanation of the importance of each topic

•           resources with more in-depth information on each topic

•           information on the entire ERCOL watershed

•           section for each lake association to customize specific information needs

August/September:

Focus group of relatively new waterfront property owners to:

•           gather information on water-related topics/issues they want to know more about, wish they knew when they purchased their property, have encountered while living on their lake/river, etc.

•           learn about the most preferred way to communicate with them

September – December:

Lake association and resource professional representatives to determine:

•           content based on focus group findings and known areas of need

•           area-specific content for each lake

•           initial draft copy

January – April 2023:

•           review content, update, design format, final draft approval

•           distribute Spring 2023
